Sant Baba Harnam Singh Ji Charitable Eye Hospital
Every year since 1965, a free eye camp where eye operations and consultations are undertaken has been organized by the Gurdwara Sahib. In this free eye camp between 2500 – 3000 patients are examined by consultant eye specialists. Here, patients are examined and operated on the 1st and 3rd Sunday and every week eye surgeries are performed by the eye specialists. New patients are examined, given appropriate medicines, advice and appointments for their operation. The patients receive free treatment, food, accommodation, medicines, aftercare and clothing whilst at the Gurdwara Sahib and Hospital. All the services in this Hospital are absolutely FREE.
